I'm Bethany Paquette, the Cree-Métis filmmaker behind Bouncing Pika Productions, based in Whitehorse. Documentary and short-form film sit at the heart of my work.

Some stories sit past where most crews can reach. I carry a compact 4K kit, the safety training, and the lived experience on the land to get there and back. When your project calls for a remote river or ground most crews can’t cover, you get a safe, self-sufficient shooter and drone pilot who knows the country.

Northern and Indigenous storytelling
As a Cree-Métis videographer, I centre Indigenous voices and northern communities in my work, with care and respect guiding every project. I take direction from the people whose stories these are, slow down, and listen first. If your community, Indigenous government, or organization has a story to tell, I would be honoured to help tell it well.

Q: Do you travel outside Whitehorse?
Yes. I film across the Yukon and into the wider North, including remote and backcountry locations. Travel beyond the territory is quoted per project.

Every project is quoted individually based on filming days, travel, and editing time. You get clear pricing up front and no surprises along the way.
Q: Can you edit footage we already shot?

Q: Can you do aerial or drone footage?
Yes. Drone work is part of most productions, shot in 4K alongside the ground footage.
